Judge Brown has been presiding over citizenship ceremonies for three years, approximately 300 ceremonies. On July 1, 2008 Judge Brown was at Ambleside Park in North Vancouver, helping to add another 80 citizens to the population of Canada.

She talked to the new Canadians about all the rights they have as citizens, and their new responsibilities.

And a family of new citizens read the document that welcomes them into the Canadian family.
